SALARY: $150,000 - $180,000 (in NYC - will be adjusted for geo)
The Role:
The Senior Product Manager will lead the strategic development and execution of innovative products across our private markets data extraction lifecycle—spanning document collection, data extraction, and data distribution.
As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll leverage deep domain expertise in Private Markets to own the “why” and “what”—defining the product roadmap, working directly with limited partners (LPs), and translating insight into impact. You’ll partner closely with Product Owners and Engineers to turn deep client understanding into real outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Ideation & Product Development
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for a defined area of the platform.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and client discovery to inform product strategy, positioning, and roadmap, collaborating with Client Success, Marketing, and Sales teams to develop launch plans and support GTM activities.
- Proactively identify opportunities to embed workflow automation, improving efficiency, accuracy, and margin within the extraction and operations lifecycle.
- Private Markets Domain Expertise
- Deeply understand institutional and wealth LP workflows, investor reporting, capital transactions, financial statements, and fund analytics (IRR, TVPI, DPI).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
- Collaborate daily with Engineering, Data Operations, Design, and AI teams to define clear requirements.
- Clearly document and communicate workflows, business logic, and operational standards via detailed PRDs, Lean Canvas, and phased product roadmap artifacts.
- Go To Market & Launch Strategy
- Align with Commercial and Marketing teams to seamlessly deliver new products and features to market, ensuring enablement and adoption of all teams and clients.
- Measurement, Iteration & Continuous Improvement
- Establish clear success criteria and KPIs around product launches.
- Continuously measure product performance and customer impact, rapidly iterating based on real-world outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
- 6–10 years of product management experience in private markets, fintech, data operations, or analytics domains
- Strong domain expertise in private markets data, fund operations, investor workflows, and financial analytics
- Ability to translate complex operational requirements into clear, executable product features and automated processes
- Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; ability to react to project adjustments quickly and efficiently
- Experience partnering closely with engineering in an agile development environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Ability to prioritize effectively, manage trade-offs, and deliver on product roadmaps in alignment with business objectives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working directly with customers to gather feedback and validate product ideas
- Experience defining and tracking key product metrics using tools such as Pendo, Datadog, and Snowflake, and using data to inform product decisions
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior product managers or contribute to team growth
